Swimming- The Buffalo National River offers many swimming holes.
Fishing- Many varieties of fish are available in the streams and rivers.
Hunting- Elk, deer, and turkey in season.
Hiking- Over 100 miles of trails are maintained in the park.
Golfing- Courses in Harrison and Fairfield Bay
Horseback Riding- Many park service trails are open to horses as well as hikers.
Antiquing- From St. Joe to Clinton, antique shops abound.
Shopping- Many small shops offer crafts made by local artisans.

Blanchard Springs Caverns- Rated on of the Top Ten caves in the US. Open year-round. For information, call 888-757-2246.

Scenic Highways- Scenic Highway 14 from Yellville to the Buffalo Point Area.
Arkansas State Highway 7, a state designated Scenic Byway, stretches from the Louisiana State line near El Dorado, Arkansas to Diamond City, Arkansas, near the Missouri State line.
Highway 10 to Mountain View.
